We all know that mosquitoes can transmit diseases, but did you know that there are over 3,000 different species of mosquito, and many differences in their habits and the diseases they transmit? At the January Tacoma Science Café, join the Washington Department of Health’s Liz Dykstra, Ph.D., B.C.E., to learn about mosquito biology, diversity, and how something so small can have such a large impact on our lives.
