Sarah Gaichas and Chris Harvey, researchers from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), talked about marine ecosystem science and management in Alaskan and Puget Sound waters. In particular, they contrasted Alaska, where fisheries are the major human activity, with Puget Sound, where human activities are more varied.
