Over the decades, the image of Seattle has been captured on screen many times, from major Hollywood productions to television series, to small independent films. For the first half of this program, film critic Robert Horton speaks about the history of film and film-going in Seattle. Then, we screen winning films from MOHAI's second annual History Is ____ Film Competition -- a community event that explores how we define history, both as individuals and as a society.
