Steve Inskeep

January 16, 2012

We talk with NPR Morning Edition Co-Host Steve Inskeep. He discusses his first book, "Instant City: Life and Death in Karachi" which tells the fascinating and complex story of Pakistan's most populated city. In his book, he chronicles the history, politics, religion, violence, and growth of Karachi. He explains how what he discovered there helps us understand the turbulent and uneasy relationship that exists between Pakistan and the United States today.
