Robert Taylor

May 7, 2012

Robert Taylor was the first openly gay Episcopal dean in the United States. We talk with him about his new book, "A New Way to be Human: 7 Spiritual Pathways to Becoming Fully Alive."

About Robert Taylor

Taylor was dean of Seattle's St. Mark's Episcopal Cathedral from 1999 to 2008, the first openly gay Episcopal dean in the United States, and at the time, the highest-ranking openly gay clergy in the Episcopal Church. His mentor was Archbishop Desmond Tutu who helped him leave South Africa during the apartheid years.
